I made a thing!

Trying to prepare a PhD defense while overwhelmed with anger and heartbreak over the George Zimmerman verdict has been...weird. I mostly have dealt by not posting much here or on facebook etc.
But then I made a thing! To celebrate my new favorite villain, Gustavo Fring of Breaking Bad.

Since venturing into the edges of the Sherlock-verse, I've heard this quote, describing the arch-villain Moriarty, a number of times. But Gustavo isn't described as a genius mastermind -- he's shown to be one. Gah I kinda love him, disturbing and terrifying though he was. Season 5 just hasn't been the same without him. (I'm on episode 2. No spoilers please!)
Anyway, I know this image isn't the most amazing thing ever. Truth be told, I'm not happy with how it turned out but didn't know how to fix it. So anyone with photoshop skills and/or more visual knowhow who wants to give me some pointers, I'll happily take 'em.

Um, so, speaking of "was". The whole walking out and straightening his tie thing was weird. I mean, I read it as some sort of symbolic/magical realism/didn't really happen thing? But according to the internets I'm supposed to read it straight. Like he really did that? In that condition? It confuses me!!

As for Gus's departure, yeah, I thought the scene was BRILLIANT! If *anyone* could walk away from that, I figured, shit, Gus could! And HE DID. Well, for a minute or two. I don't think he knew he was dead until the physical laws of the universe gave him the news. Up until then, he was Gus, damn it. Gus with his tie and poise.
Saul had better make it through to the end or I'll be PISSED, ROYALLY.
