AAAAHHHHHHH! OMG!?!?! At first I was like, "Oh no, a SU vid to Janelle Monae, how terribly perfect!" And then you start out with Garnet?? And I thought maybe it was a Garnet vid?? Only then came the Pearl/RoseQuartz section which was almost too good for me!! And THENNN somehow you cranked it up a notch with Stevonnie?? Basically how is this song so good for Steven Universe fusions and how are you this awesome???

Thank you! a) I highly recommend Steven Universe! The episodes are only 11 minutes long! If you need a link I can PM you. b) Argh, Lightworks was great because it is free and I downloaded it quickly, but also Lightworks is horrible because its workflow is not Premiere's workflow and I am turning into a cranky old-at-heart vidder who resists learning new things. Thankfully this vid was short on SFX, and the Stevonnie section (the section where JM is rapping) practically vidded itself. :D

This is awesome! It's like six amazing Steven Universe vids all wrapped up in one. :) Love your editing on the Rose/Pearl section especially - using all those queer queer Pearl moments (eg the rose and top hat) together to create an overall vision. And the Ruby/Sapphire parts were so lovely and sexy and sweet!

Oh, I really like this. :) I'm not sure I have the vidding vocabulary to properly express the thing that most strikes me about this vid, which is the sense of rhythm and flow you develop through your editing choices. The steady, relatively slow beat of the song imposes discipline on clips that contain a lot of fast motion. There's so much energy in the visuals (esp. Garnet's fight scenes) that sometimes it feels like they might be about to break free of the music and fly off in chaotic directions, but they don't; they fit and flow together perfectly.
