My Fannish Doings

I contributed to the Veronica Mars kickstarter! And am already daydreaming that Joss Whedon will be inspired to kickstart a film about Giles, Faith, and Robin battling demons and emotional isolation in Cleveland. Or some other hellmouth, you know. I know, I know, this is never happening. But a fangirl can dream.
Vidding is going slow, but it's happening. I'm holding out hope that I'll still be able to finish both my
tightpresent and Club Vivid vids, but if it turns out I can only do one, it'll be
tightpresent. I think I've found a way to move clips to the timeline without dragging and dropping, which is really the worst part about vidding for my wrists. So if that works I should be able to vid just fine. I hope anyway!
I need to start predicting that Once Upon a Time writers won't have the guts to follow through on things every episode, because I am two for two with the wrongness! I was sure they'd never undo the curse in S1, and just last week I predicted that Snow wouldn't actually kill Cora. This is the stuff I love being wrong about.
I'm guessing Henry's going to burst in just in time to prevent Regina from exacting her revenge on Snow? But wow, for the first time, Regina actually has a reason -- not a delusional, take-your-abuse-out-on-someone-with-less-power-than-you excuse, but a reason -- to be angry at Snow. I mean, it's still Regina's twisted world-view where she is "the good one" even though she was, you know, planning to kill them all. But wow. Snow manipulating Regina herself into unwittingly killing her mother -- I know Snow did it (that particular thing) out of necessity, not malice, but still, that's cold.
Also: I liked the actor playing young!Cora more than the regular one. The regular Cora seems so -- I don't know, oddly flat? Maybe it's the no heart thing. Anyway, it was kind of cool to see young!Cora start out as a character I really liked. I hope we get to see more of her, though her turn to evil was so fast that I found young!Cora at the end of the episode a lot less interesting. And I'm now wondering how they came to be the wealthy but unremarkable landowners they were shown to be in flashbacks to Regina's youth, seeing as how they're starting as royals of some sort.
And hey, did anyone else notice that Emma said she wasn't being "judgy"? Someone's been watching Buffy in her spare time.
