Underground got some flack for being more of an action-drama than its premise suggests, but I kinda loved it. I mean, why shouldn't runaway slaves get to be action heros? And the ending left me So Excited for Season 2.
I watched so much TV -- so much really good and in most cases diverse TV -- this year that I forgot even to put this one on my end of year list but I did enjoy it a lot! Great cast and I'm looking forward to what they do with Harriet Tubman.
