Sleepy Hollow Season 1

frayadjacentWe finished season 1 of Sleepy Hollow last night, and I imagine we'll catch up on S2 this weekend.
Jenny's OK, right? RIGHT?? (Don't answer that.) Also WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH IRVING? That was so terrible to watch. Orlando Jones face. Everyone's faces.
I loved when Abbie reminded Ichabod of their purpose, that they both needed to be prepared to sacrifice for the greater good. Though I also had a moment when I thought that Abbie was going to "betray" Ichabod by destroying the map before he saw it, which would have been a satisfying twist IMO. Anyway I find I'm not terribly worried about our protagonists and am much more concerned for Jenny and Irving, even if they're also pretty likely to come out more or less OK.
I also loved when Abbie told Ichabod why they shouldn't try to find the map -- and he agreed with her excellent reasoning. But then the narrative basically undid that so I was a little frowny face.
