Yes, absolutely. Sometime in early-mid 2013 I realised that I had the knowledge and skills to make excellent vids, I just needed to put in the effort. So, I did, for a while, and all of my favourite vids by me are from the year or two that followed that. I put a lot of effort into things like thorough clipping/rewatching of source, planning, speed and timing, colour correction and other effects that didn't just prettify but really affected the feel of the vid. And I still watch those vids ALL THE TIME. Then I got kinda burnt out and for a while I wasn't sure I'd keep vidding. I feel excited to vid again, but I need to get back in the habit of aiming for an excellent vid rather than good enough.
